The Boulder County Recycling Center Remains Open Under Colorado’s “Stay at Home” Order

As a business involved in the collection, processing, and disposal of recycling and compost, Eco-Cycle will continue operating the Boulder County Recycling Center under Colorado’s current “Stay At Home” order because the facility qualifies as an “essential business” providing critical services. To protect the health and safety of employees at the BCRC, we are complying with directives for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including social distancing requirements.

What this means for you

The continued operation of the BCRC and related collection services means that you and your household should continue to recycle (and compost--our friends at A-1 Organics are also still processing your compostables)! Place your recycle and compost bins curbside according to your hauler’s weekly schedule.

Find yourself ordering more take-out these days and wondering whether the containers are recyclable, compostable or trash?

Check out this short video! We review the most common take-out food containers and tell you which ones go in which bin.

We want to hear from you!
