Join us for our first virtual training series!
Thursday, April 8th & Thursday, April 22nd
5:30-7:30pm (Mountain Standard Time)
Via Zoom
April is Earth Month, and to celebrate we invite you to our first two-part virtual training, “Equity, Inclusion, & Zero Waste”, where we’ll delve into the intersection of natural resources and social justice. We will discuss the history of environmental justice and environmental racism, how those issues apply to natural resources and Zero Waste specifically, and how you can be a part of the solution. We’ll also look at the systems causing and perpetuating environmental and social injustices, and how we can dismantle them in order to move forward effectively in our environmental and social work. Parker McMullen-Bushman from EcoInclusive will be our incredible guest speaker, and we're greatly looking forward to offering this important training to our Eco-Cycle community.
Please note that this is a two-part series, and ideally everybody would attend both (the first session is April 8th, the second session is April 22nd). However, if you can only attend one session, please let us know in the note section of the RSVP form and we will work it out with you!
Once you RSVP, the Zoom link will be sent to you!
Edit this message to tell users that can't take action (because of their location) how to contribute. For example, consider adding a link to a petition or donation page that you have created, or add social sharing options so that these supporters can help get the word out on social media.
Thank you for RSVPing to the training!
